An employee shall be entitled to 30 days of Leave with Salary(LWS) in a calendar year. The leave account of an employee shall be credited with LWS in two instalments of 15 days each on the 1st of January and July every year.
An employee is eligible for Leave Without Salary(LWOS) on medical grounds when all other kinds of leave at his/her credit are exhausted. The employee shall produce Medical Certificate from the Medical Board constituted by the Govt. for availing leave without allowance.
An employee shall be entitled to 20 days of Half Pay Leave(HPL) with salary in a calendar year. The leave account of an employee shall be credited with leave with salary in two installments of 10 days each on the 1st of January and July every year.
Casual leave admissible shall be at the rate of 20 days in a calendar year subject to the condition that the total period of absence on Casual Leave combined with holidays shall not exceed 15 days at a time.
