Introduction

The CWRDM Sub Centre, Kottayam was established in 1991 to carryout projects in water resources management in the Central Kerala. More thrust was given to projects on management of wetlands including the Vemmbanad wetlands.

Vision

To develop and apply hydrologic methods for sustainable management of water resources in the humid regions, for the benefit of the State, Nation and the Humanity in general

Mission

Planning and implementation of R &D programmes in the field of management of natural resources including water, with special reference to Kerala State.

Major Activities
